Several Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) BMW 7 series owners met online in 2001 and decided to get together and share our common interest and passion. Our first face-to-face meet took place on March 16, 2002 at the parking lot of Pappadeaux Seafood in Richardson. The exchange of knowledge and experience was instant and non-stop for several hours. Everyone went home happy and hungry that day (we were too busy talking and spared no time for food or drink). It was decided during the first meet that we should meet on a regular basis.
Since then we’ve had many fun & exciting meets. The variety of meets include social functions, DIY’s (Do It Yourself), Tech Sessions, charity events, etc. In addition to enthusiastic North Texas members, we’ve had many out-of-town visitors from central & south Texas, Oklahoma; and as far as Colorado, Kansas, Ohio and Kentucky.
To handle the growing interest, this website was launched on February 7, 2004 to provide helpful information and future activities to local BMW 7 Series enthusiasts. Our members include owners from all models of 7 Series, E23 (1978-1987), E32 (1988-1994), E38 (1995-2001), and E65/E66 (2002-2009).
DFW7 has continued to hold meets several times per year since 2002. We are one of the best organized 7 Series club in North America. While a relatively small car club, DFW7 has ben able to offer consistently high quality, content rich and creative meets for its participants. We currently meet 2~3 times per year. You can find links to our past event Pics & summaries in the Gallery.
